Our goal is simple…Normalize aesthetic treatments. We created Metro Medspa from the perspective of an everyday woman. We know it’s not easy to sit in a sterile, medical-ish treatment room holding a mirror pointing out what bothers you about your face or body. So we flipped the script with a modern beauty bar that focuses on beauty as an empowering feeling, not a source of insecurity.
When you walk through the door, you’ll be greeted by a member of our girl gang and engulfed by a sophisticated space described as “Nip Tuck Meets Barbie Dream House”. Help yourself at our beverage bar and take a seat in one of our chic (yes, it’s an IG moment), yet relaxing, swinging egg chairs. Come in solo or meet a friend at the Botox Bar where you can sit, catch up and wage the war against wrinkles arm in arm. We’re not just here to provide accessible aesthetic treatments at an affordable price point through expert providers, we’re here to fuel a movement that empowers everyday women to destigmatize cosmetic treatments and own their beauty routine with confidence.
We truly believe that beauty is feeling, and we want you to leave Metro Medspa feeling just that, beautiful.

Kate is the Beauty Boss and founder of Metro Medspa. Kate has always been a lover of all things beauty and was thrilled to break into the medical aesthetic industry in 2010 when she joined a start-up company as an Aesthetic Practice Development Specialist in NYC.
With this company, Kate launched several innovative aesthetic devices. Throughout her career, Kate has had the opportunity to work alongside several of New York City and Chicago’s top plastic surgeons and dermatologists where she has gained extensive knowledge in aesthetic injectables, skincare and minimally invasive treatments. In 2015, Kate moved from NYC to STL to be with her husband James and grow their blended family.
Kate is a mom to 5 children (2 by blood and 3 by love). When Kate was pregnant with her youngest daughter in 2017, she decided to leverage years of experience in the aesthetic industry and cross over from Corporate America to entrepreneurship, launching Metro Medspa.
Metro Medspa is based on Kate’s vision of building an empowering community for women in a cool, comfortable space that offers accessible aesthetic procedures and demystifies the world of once taboo cosmetic treatments.

I love to empower women and make them feel their best self. The whole philosophy behind Metro is to help women build each other up and that is what we do each and every day. We have the best team and work collaboratively with one another to help patients achieve their personal goals. Helping patients feel and look their best gives me such gratification and purpose.
I wanted to be a cosmetologist when I was growing up. I loved making people feel beautiful! I ended up starting out as a nurse and furthered my career as an aesthetic nurse practitioner.
